Platform Rules

General Rules

  • One account per person. Multiple accounts will be banned.
  • All information you provide must be accurate and truthful.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate the platform, game the system, or exploit other users.
  • Be respectful in all interactions. Harassment or abuse will result in an immediate ban.
  • The platform reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated rules.

Developer Rules

  • Valid testing links only. Your Play Store testing link must be a genuine, working opt-in URL from Google Play Console.
  • No fake or malicious apps. Apps that contain malware, violate Google Play policies, or are created solely to exploit the platform will be removed and your account banned.
  • Do not remove testers early. Once testers have opted in, you must keep the testing track open for the full 14-day period.
  • Disputes must be genuine. File disputes only when a tester genuinely did not opt in or left the test early. Filing false disputes will result in account suspension.
  • Dispute window. You have 7 days after the 14-day testing period ends to file a dispute against a tester.

Tester Rules

  • You must actually opt in on Google Play. After joining a test on TestersHub, you must visit the Play Store testing link and opt in. Simply clicking "Join Test" on our platform is not enough.
  • Stay opted in for the full 14 days. Do not leave the test, uninstall the app, or opt out before the testing period is complete.
  • Use a real device. Testing must be done on a physical Android device. Emulators, virtual machines, or fake device profiles are not allowed.
  • One enrolment per app. Do not create multiple accounts to enrol in the same app more than once.
  • No automated tools. Do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to enrol in tests or interact with the platform.

Consequences

Violations are handled on a case-by-case basis. The typical escalation path is:

1st Offence — Warning

You will receive a warning. Your account remains active but the violation is on record.

2nd Offence — Temporary Ban

Your account will be temporarily suspended. Any pending balance will be held until the ban is lifted.

3rd Offence — Permanent Ban

Your account will be permanently banned. Any remaining balance may be forfeited.

Severe violations (malware, fraud, abuse) may result in an immediate permanent ban without prior warning.

Dispute Process

  • Developers can file a dispute against a tester within 7 days after the 14-day testing period ends.
  • Disputes are reviewed by the platform admin. Both parties may be contacted for additional information.
  • Resolved for developer: The tester's credit is reversed and the tester may receive a warning or ban.
  • Resolved for tester: The tester keeps their credit and no action is taken against them.
  • Dismissed: The dispute is closed with no action taken.
